The Space
Vista Royal Villa offers beautiful ocean views, seclusion, and privacy while still being just a short walk or drive to the beach in Playa Ocotal.  This 4 + 1 bedroom luxury home sits on a gated property and is beautifully designed with walls of windows facing the ocean, offering views from every room.  Everywhere you turn in this home, you feel like the landscape envelops you.  The home’s design combines beautiful wood, large windows, soaring ceilings, and unique architecture with stunning nature and ocean views, creating an experience that integrates you with the environment.

Enter the main house from the large parking area and be wowed by the home’s beautiful design.  To the right are two bedrooms, both with King beds, private balconies, soaring ceilings, remote blinds, and ocean views.  The first bedroom has a dedicated desk area, and both feature TVs, large closets, and comfy bathrobes.  Outside these rooms is a large bathroom with double vanity, a massive jacuzzi tub with stunning nature views, and a large shower stall.

As you enter the main living space, another full bathroom sits on the right.  Steps lead to an auxiliary bedroom with two twin beds.  This room has a large pocket door and curtains that separate the space from the living area.  This space is also perfect for teleworkers as there is a large desk with two comfortable office chairs overlooking the living room and pool.  The sunken living room overlooks the pool and has ample, comfortable seating plus a massive TV set off to the side so you can enjoy the game or movie night without impacting the breathtaking views.

Vista Royal Villa’s living space is indoor/outdoor living at its finest.  The entire space features floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to create a seamless transition between the living, dining, and kitchen and the massive outdoor entertaining space.  To the left, the eat-in kitchen has a dining table for six, plus additional seating for three at the breakfast bar.  The kitchen has a large french-door fridge, ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, and many small appliances.  Cook up a vacation feast, or let us connect you with a local chef and leave the cooking to someone else!  The kitchen windows slide wide open, providing access to the outdoor breakfast bar with seating for three and making a great passthrough to the outdoor grilling area.  Outside, there are several different seating areas plus a dining table that seats 8.  The large pool spans the length of the living space and has a large jetted tub, all with beautiful ocean views.

Past the living space is the sprawling primary suite.  The floor-to-ceiling windows continue through to this room, offering views of the pool and outdoor entertaining area, plus the ocean and the lush surrounding landscape from the comfortable king bed.  There is a sunken living area with a large TV and futon that provides extra sleeping space.  Step out onto your private patio with a comfortable seating area just outside your door plus an over-pool deck area with two lounge chairs.  Catch some rays or set the chair to the side and utilize this space as an oceanview yoga platform.  Back inside, the ensuite bathroom has a double vanity, a large shower stall, and a soaking tub that immerses you in the surrounding landscape.

The lower level of the home has a large bedroom with a private patio, large TV, a walk-in closet with comfy bathrobes, and an en-suite bathroom.  This space can be accessed via the interior spiral staircase or from the parking area.  The laundry room also sits on the lower level.

Vista Royal Villa is truly a tranquil paradise that connects you with nature at every turn.  The location is perfect in that you feel like you’re in your own world, but you’re perched low enough on the Ocotal hillside to access the house by golf cart or car and have quick access by foot to beautiful Playa Ocotal.

GETTING AROUND
Guests will be most comfortable with a rental car or golf cart for their stay, which we can assist with!  While it is walkable to Playa Ocotal, most shops and restaurants are located in Playas del Coco. We do not recommend this home without a rental car or private driver.

VARIABLE PRICING
A NOTE ABOUT PRICING – While this home sleeps 11, the pricing starts for groups of 6.  This variable pricing structure allows groups of all sizes to enjoy the home.  Please be sure to enter your accurate group size for proper pricing.

The Location⁣
The home is on a large, private, gated lot in Playa Ocotal.  Access to the beach is quick and easy, just 500m to the soft sand – 2 minutes by car or 6 minutes on foot.  Playa Ocotal is a quiet village with a beautiful beach set in a cove, offering gentle surf and great walkability (0.5 km/ 0.3 miles from point to point).  There is plenty of shade along the beachfront and the ends of the beach have rocky reefs that offer good shore snorkeling options.  There is a small mini market and two great restaurants – Father Rooster and Maracuya at Bahia Pez Vela Resort (the latter offers day passes to their Beach Club).

A 10-minute drive to the downtown of Playas del Coco gets you into the action. You can either rent a car or have your personal vacation planner arrange for an airport shuttle and a golf cart rental for during your stay! Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia, is just a 40-minute drive from the home. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops can be found in neighboring Playas del Coco. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk.  You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Enjoy the plethora of restaurants and activities in the area, then retire to the peace and tranquility of this beautiful vacation home.
